In Kampala there is a shop called Kampala Fair that makes beautiful clothing and carpets out of African materials. I have one of the carpets in my bedroom. They make these carpets out of the scraps leftover from making dresses, and it probably takes about 3 weeks to make a big one. These carpets are truely magnificent, they really make a room.
